Making the Grade

Getting irritated because of the low grades you got in school?? Don’t you worry! Here are five things you will need in achieving a set of A grades!

1. PEN AND PAPER

Use them to jot down important things your teacher says. Be aware of those, teachers sometimes include them in examinations! Surprise!

2. EARS AND EYES

Use them to listen attentively to your teacher. TAKE NOTE: Use them as an aid for listening and studying, not for copying!

3. BED AND PILLOW

Students should get at least 8-10 wee hours of sleep everyday so as to avoid fatigue and stress which are the chief elements that hinders one to get a decent mark.

4. LOVE

Everyone should learn to work with love. Otherwise, if you keep on cramming angrily and worrying about stuff, you can never do it properly.

5. FAITH

Last but not the least and most importantly, faith. You should be confident in what you can do. An additional one and very efficient (tried and tested by Yours Truly, ME):is having trust and faith in God!

Bye-bye High School! Hello College!

College life really is heaping harder than high school! So many adjustments and tough competitions faced me… I was shocked! Awesome! :)

Waah… I’m so stressed! It’s like I’ve become five years older than my own age! Huwaah.. I can’t take this anymore! I miss high school… I miss my classmates… I miss my friends… I miss my teachers… And most of all, I miss lazing around! Haha…^-^

The thing is, you just have to maintain the required grade then, that’s it! You’re in!

Whoo… [Pero nalaman ko na sa ibang Colleges and Universities, automatic na nilang makikita ang pinaghirapan nila as part of the DEAN’S LIST... Hai..

DOTA ‘til they drop!

College: Ngayon, nagcucutting na ang mga boys just to play DOTA! Minsan nga, 7 na lang kaming natitira sa loob ng room out of 40+! Imagine?!

*      High School: 50% ang CLASS STANDING at 40% naman ang MAJOR EXAMS! So, this only means na kaylangan mo talagang paghirapan both sides dahil super close ang percentage! Gasp! 0,o

College: Shout for joy! Keep it up!

College: Hail Holy! Here comes WASH DAY to the rescue! Haha…
Nakakahiya namang magdala ng same outfits to school every wash day ‘di ba?!

*      High School: Madali lang makahanap ng TRUE FRIENDS lalo na if your personality is a mixture of friendly and approachable atmosphere! Nasa stage of innocence pa kasi ang mga katauhan kaya go, join the fun!

College: Here comes the FRIENDSHIP problem! Mula sa smoking, drinking… then it could lead to drugs… So sad but true…=’( Kailangang kilatisin mo ng maigi kung kanino ka sasama… Who knows?! Baka maging isa sa kanila ang mag-influence sa ‘yo to do things that you never did and you will regret doing so… :(

*      High School: Catching up with a TEACHER is easy! Dahil kadalasan, nasa faculty lang sila… nagkakape!

College: Super hirap maghagilap na PROFESSOR! Whew… :’)

*** I wrote this article on the first time that I absented myself from class because of traffic! Hate that day!… I realized then that it’s really hard to adjust and enter college life! Whew… And now that I’d finished one whole semester of learning, I had collected numerous experiences that are exciting, happy, sad, … etc. Those are just some of the differences that I had observed between high school and college… feeling ko, dadami pa ‘yan! So, watch out!
